We are "The True Companion" of Industries

Knowledge based private joint stock company

Server drive repairs include checking the power supply, interface modules, and positioning modules. Servo drives are used for AC and DC motors, but the first servo motors in industries were often DC. In cases where transistors found the ability to control high current and convert it to higher frequency, AC servo drives became more popular.

Repco’s industrial drive repair services include repairing DC and AC industrial drives, servo drives and stepper industrial drives.

Testing:

If needed, servo drives that have been repaired will be fully tested. We also provide you with a 12-month warranty on servo drive repairs. Test servo drives include the following:

Interface module testing

Test communication connections

Drive feedback test using encoder simulator

Testing input and output modules

Repairs of industrial DC drives:

For the repair of DC drives, it should be noted that due to the type of structure of this drive, its repair takes a little time. Some of the external factors that can affect the failure and reduction of the performance of these drives are as follows:

If your power supply connection is weak:

If the problem of your drive is related to voltage or current, then the device does not receive the required power. This factor plays a major role in the failure of your drive motor. It should be noted that this factor involves the motor and not the DC drive, so factors such as motor relays and connections should be checked.

Command signal:

If the DC drive disables the motor it could be due to a weak command signal. For this reason, you must ensure that the command signal is transmitted correctly.

After checking all the external factors, the drive itself should be checked. If your drive is damaged, it will cause the fuses to fail. These are some of the defects of the drive itself.

Repairs of AC industrial drives:

Before repairing AC drives, it is necessary to know the following steps:

Disconnect AC power before performing any troubleshooting prior to repair. Be sure to check that there is no voltage at the AC input terminals.

The system should be thoroughly checked for moisture. Because these factors cause drive failure.

The drive must be cleaned of any dust. Otherwise, the cooling of the drive semiconductors will be disturbed.

An increase in the temperature of the drive can damage the connections, that’s why all the connections related to the drive must be correct.

Check all drive voltages and currents. Unbalanced voltage can damage the drive, that’s why the voltages must be balanced within 5 seconds. Also, unbalanced voltage causes strong vibration of the motor.
